Is it safe to use milk kefir grain whey for fermenting water kefir grains

instead of water for fermenting water kefir grains?

It might be good if you read that again before you answer it.

No good. No food for the water grains. They live on sugar.

I asked you-all to re-read what I said because of the complexity of all the

" kefir " and " water " etc.
