Guest guest
Hi all. I have been brewing Kombucha for about a year now. Have branched into MK and most recently, WK. I have brewed my WK grains about 4x now and they are getting bigger and increasing in #'s. Can someone tell me what to expect in the taste of 24hr and 48hr fermented WK? I was expecting something similar to KT but mine tastes like rather bland, flat sugar water. Even addition of fruit for 2nd ferment does not appreciably improve the flavor. Not sure if I need to give this more time or if this is what to expect from finished product. While it's probably not as sweet as hour 0, the fermented product is definitely too sweet for me. TIA for your help. Carol K
