Guest guest
On one of the Kombucha forums one of the participants had a link to a site about " ecouterre " .. a U.K. Designer who is a sentior reserch fellow .. makes her designed clothes from " bathtubs, yeast, pinch of bacteria & sweetened tea " . For any of us who've worked around the scobies and MOV's, the pictures look just like they would dried/pushed together, .. kind of thin leathery .. the look also reminds me of native " brain-tanned " deer skin. Although I don't have time to experiment ... wouldn't it be cute for Barbie Dolls? Come to think of it perhaps I'll do one for my 2 youngest granddaughters! It can also be dyed with several natural dyes. Check out the article at http://www.ecouterre.com/u-k-designer-grows-an-entire-wardrobe%20from-tea-fermen\ ting-bacteria IF anyone does anything " creative " with them, I'd sure like to see pics, etc. Joyce Simmerman
