Guest guest
When you dumped out the old kefir, did you keep some of the liquid to start your new batch or did you only keep your grains? ________________________________________________________________________ 3e. Are my grains dead? Posted by: " loriclemmons " loriclemmons@... loriclemmons Date: Thu Dec 2, 2010 7:56 pm ((PST)) Or do I just need to be a bit more patient? Life kinda got away from me and they were left sitting for several weeks. I dumped out kefir/vinegar water they were sitting in and put them in new sugar water. They look just the same as they did before (not brown), but I'm not seeing any bubbles from them. I've changed the sugar water a couple times thinking maybe they just need to wake up, but still no bubbles. I think there is a little bit of change in the taste after a couple of days, but my husband says it still tastes like sugar water to him. Should I just dump them out and get new grains? Anybody have any available? Lori
