Guest guest Posted December 8, 2010 Report Share Posted December 8, 2010 Somewhere along the line, I came to be under the impression that the proper strainer to be used for straining the kefir is plastic. Is this true? Is there a reason metal cannot be used? I currently use a plastic colander but it seems I loose so many of the developing smaller grains thru the larger holes so wondered if I could use my metal sieve-like strainer instead. ~~Bobbie in CT Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
