Hi,

I'm a new member of the group. My name is and I lived in the

Philippines.I got interested in natural perfumery when I took the

job in a small distillery of natural essential oil few years ago.

I am currently researching for the possible application of our

essential oil product in perfumery and also where to market our

product. We are currently producing manila elemi oil.

I believe that there's a lot to learn and share with the group and I

am hoping for the support from the fellow members.I would like to

thank you all in advance.

Regards,

Hi Anya,

I must say Croatia is not yet a member of EU (not all European

countries are), just preparing for it. So we still don't have so many

regulations and restrictions, but we are getting to it and I'm trying

to " catch " everything.

We have some gorgeous domestic essential oils, like lavender or

rosemary, but production is really small and private, so most of our

essential oils are imported. Although, I don't import them myself, we

buy them from a larger distributor who imports them from Spain or

somewhere else. And they are pretty expensive too.

I look forward to meet you all, especially members from Europe!

Best regards,

Marijana

Hi

Nice to get a new member from the Philippines. I know we have at

least one other member from the islands. It's extra nice to know

you're a producer. I'd love to hear about the elemi production

process. Is it by any chance organic? We have ad day every Thursday,

and you'll see the instructions on how to submit an ad posted weekly,

a day in advance, so look out for that.

Have fun, if you have the time, reading through the archives to catch

up with the agenda and tone of the group. You can use search words

once you're in the message area to look up anything.

Yes, our elemi oil is absolutely organic and is processed through

hydrosteam distillation. We use fresh, wildcrafted elemi resin. ..

Hi Deb,

Welcome to us! It sounds like you do indeed have a lot to bring to

our group. I think many, if not most or all of us also consider

ourselves non-mainstream-ish (Natural Perfumery is kinda that way).

This group just keeps blossoming and unfolding more with every new

member. Thank you for joining!

Hi Caryn :)

I'm new here as well. Hopefully, we will all be able to provide uplifting

company for each other.

It's been a long time since I've been to Phoenix, although I thoroughly

enjoyed living in Tucson for a few years.

Hi! I just joined this group. I have a chronic migraine problem and

I'm chemically sensitive. I also have a few other medical problems,

like hypothyroidism, but thankfully they are under control.

I didn't see chemical sensitivity or environmental illness on the list

of subjects on the group homepage, but I suspect there are others here

with those problems.

I live in the Phoenix area. Nice to meet everyone!

Hi, my name is . I've been making milk kefir with grains for over a year

now, until my grains met with an unfortunate accident (roomie threw them away).

I'm interested in getting more, and trying water kefir, since I think I'd drink

that better. I'm not a huge milk fan.

Anyway, I found this group and was hoping I'd be able to find someone local I

might be able to trade or buy some kefir grains from. I have lots of kombucha

culture, and can work out a service trade. Or I can just pay. I live in the

Denver metro area, but am willing to drive.

In anycase, I look forward to getting to know all of you and learning from you

all!

I actually want to have some goats myself one day.  I'm not that into milk, but

I am into cheese (which I also make at home).  Plus my husband and son love

milk, so it would be good for them too.

,  If you're ever 3 hours northward, feel free to drop in and say

" HI " .

We live in Sidney, just north of the CO/NE border.  BTW, if you want some great

raw milk (I know you're not really into milk), there's a lady in Otis (off of

Hwy 34) who got us started in goats.  She has raw goat milk (labeled " For Pet

Use Only " per CO law) and makes goat milk soaps (great stuff).  If you're

interested, I can get you her info.
