Set the jar in a shallow dish that has some soapy water in it. Just put a

drop or two of dish soap in the water, and the ants will not be able to

reach your kefir.

Hi Amyjo,

I use a coffee filter with a rubber band to secure it which allows the kefir to

breathe and keeps unwanted guests out.
