Question on Kombucha scoby

Please someone answer this question for me, I really haven't received answers to

other questions that I have asked here.

I want to be able to give my sister a kombucha scoby, I have an extra one that

is growing now, My kombucha should be ready tonight or tomoerrow(haven't checked

it yet.) how do I store the extra scoby until I give it to her? Do I cover it

with regular tea, or does it need to be Kombucha tea. Also, I guess, I need to

then put it in the fridge, right?
