Guest guest
I want to send some milk kefir grains home with some visitors who live across the country. Will they likely survive alright if I rinse them in filtered water and stick them in a jar (without milk) for the visitors to take on the airplane in their carry on or in checked luggage? The grains would be out of milk for at least 16 hours, and probably more like 1 1/2 days, since the travelers' fridge is empty at the moment. Advice is greatly welcome! Thank you, andra
Guest guest
They will be fine. Mine sometimes take a whole week to get to their destination.
