Guest guest
Place the extra scoby and starter tea (finished kombucha) in a container and leave at room temperature. Scobies should never be refrigerated. I'm sorry that your questions haven't been answered. Hope that helps you. Do I cover it with regular tea, or does it need to be Kombucha tea. Also, I guess, I need to then put it in the fridge, right? > > Thank You, > > Helen >

Guest guest
This question belongs on the off topic chat. This forum is for kefir grains only. But to add to the answer that gave, your extra scobys can be left in a jar for six months at room temperature if you make sure they always have kt over them and you don't let them dry out.
