I had problem similar to yours that I had to buy the new hand-piece,because it was cheaper for me than repair.

Hello friends,

I need help regarding hand piece urgent.

I have a hand piece with portable dental unit. Its working otherwise but when i touch my hand piece to tooth the bur stops working. It happened yesterday morning and thereafter i could not practice at all. Please let me know, how can i repair this hand piece , also what should i do for it. I need it as soon as possible as i cant afford wasting my time. I have exams in Nov. Also can anyone lend me hand piece for some time till it get repaired. Or else can anyone tel me how much a new hand piece costs for a portable dental unit. Thanks.
