I think the answer is B.This pathology mostly resembles the eruption cyst. Wich is considered to be the superficial dentigerous cyst, and treated just by expposure of the tooth. OPG says that the crown of the tooth is emerged.

hi,

please can somebody knows the exact option of the following question..its from 1000 mcq's...plz tell either option B is correct or E

114. 8 years old child presents with all permanent incisors

erupted, but yet only three permanent first molars are erupted.

Oral examination reveals a large gingival bulge in the unerupted

permanent area. A panoramic radiograph shows the

alveolar emergence of the un-erupted permanent first molar

crown and three fourth tooth developments, there are no other

radiographic abnormalities. The most appropriate diagnosis

and treatment plan in such situation would be

A. Dentigerous cyst; surgical enucleation.

B. Idiopathic failure of eruption, surgical soft tissues exposure

C. Ankylosis of the molar, removal of the first molar to allow the second

one to erupt into its place.

D. Ankylosis of the molar, surgical soft tissues exposure and luxation of

the molar

E. Idiopathic failure of eruption, surgical soft tissues exposure and

orthodontic traction.

E. Idiopathic failure of eruption, surgical soft tissues exposure and

orthodontic traction.

Hi everybody:I have received lot of mails asking me for the dental nurse course.I thought information for eveybody would be useful!!I arrived in UK in september last year and I did a course at tempdent which apparently would allow me to start working as a dental nurse. When I was doing the course ( I think I paid almost 400 pounds for that) they told me that I should look for a place to do a "volunteer experience" for a month as a dental nurse and after that they ( tempdent) would be able to find me job BUT, I should start a course with them a year long and more and less 1500 pounds. When I was looking for this volunteer experience for a month I found a place, a clinic, where they decide to give me the job so I started working as a dental nurse there, and I was planning to do the course in tempdent, because as you know, you must be registered with tthe GDC or be doing a dental nurse course.I started working in this place, where I met a girl who told me she was going to do a dental nurse course but it was just 350 pounds!!!, finally I contact University college of London and then I started the course, but I was able to do that course because I had already the job.I hope the story is not too confusingAt the moment I am studying hard for the ore part 1 in less than 15 days time, sorry I will not be able to answer to everyone, I promise after the exam I can give you more advices if you want. Google this:London Deanary Dental Nurse Training Course for the National Certificate Examination, it may help. This was a sum up of my story but there are other dentist also working as dental nurses wha will be able to give you more advice.Lots of luck!!!gaby From: rgergashev@...Date: Wed, 25 Aug 2010 08:34:33 +0400Subject: Re: mcq from 1000 mcq's
