ANyone have any receiptes for fresh grapefruits -

maybe a toner or cleanser?

I am sure that many other members will have lots of other contributions, and

they may even comment on these. Most of these are from www.recipegoldmine.com

and I have not yet tried all them. If you try them or have comments please let

me/us know! I often change the citrus ingredient to match what I have on hand

(orange/lime/lemon/grapefruit). HTH

Citrus Skin Refreshener - Orange and grapefruit peels and juices are natural

cosmetics.

1.. Boil the peels of an orange and grapefruit with 2 cups of non-carbonated

mineral water.

2.. Drain the liquid into a spray bottle and refrigerate.

3.. Apply twice daily.

For rough elbows, rub your elbows in a cut grapefruit half. This will soften

your elbows in only a few days. It is great for heels, too.

Toner, LEMON, for oily skin

1/2 C. witch hazel

1/4 C. lemon juice

Mix. Apply to face and neck with a clean cotton ball.

SPLASH, ORANGE-VINEGAR - (astringent - restores acidity to face)

1 orange peel

1/2 C. orange flower water

2 C. white vinegar

Mix orange peel and vinegar and let it steep for 1 week. Remove orange peel and

add orange flower water. Splash on face after washing with soap and water.
