Guest guest
31.) Could your mane be shinier? Pull one strand taut, then drag your thumb and forefinger upward towards the root. If hair feels gritty and bumpy, it's too dry. Be sure to deep-condition twice a week. 32.) For glossy locks, massage shampoo from roots to ends. Never pile hair on top of your head and rub-strands could break and frizz up. 33.) Get rid of all the gunk! For super-clean strands, remove shampoo buildup once a week with this recipe: Combine a half-cup of water with a half-cup of apple cider vinegar and pour through hair after you shampoo. 34.) Avoid rinsing with hot water , instead shampoo with warm water and rinse with cool, not cold. 35.) Oil-prone strands do not need heavy conditioning. Just use a detangler from midshaft down to ends. 36.) A Tbsp. of olive oil is all you need for a deep-conditioning hair mask. Comb through, pull on a shower cap, and blow-dry on low heat for 15 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. 37.) Creat cool curls overnight with paper towels. (i don't have to do this lol) Divide wet hair into 2 inch sections, twist and tie each one into a small knot with thin strips of towel, and hit the hay. And in the morning, tousle lightly and go! 38.) Keep the natural swirl in your curls by skipping the shampoo two or 3 times a week. Instead, just spritz with water in the morning to freshen lock. (I could never do this, if I go even one day without shampooing, my hair gets all nasty and my roots are oily. Ick) 39.) Reach for a boar-bristle brush. It glides through hair smoothly and helps stimulate the scalp. 40.) As you suds up, use your fingertips to massage your scalp. The pressure will jump-start blood flow, helping to make tresses strong and shiny. But I do occasionally wet it to revitalize the curl, maybe even condition it if I have been cruel to it (riding motorcycles and such) Christa
