Guest guest
Hey LL sisters! I'm safe back home. We arrived home late Friday night. I do have to confess that on Thursday, I did not work out-- only got in 10 warm up breaths and then realized that I was running late for a day trip to see family in Florida. I was disappointed at first because in four months of LL, this was only my 2nd time not to work out. I really had to fight not beating myself up over it. Karma: I totally feel like you on the freedom I have gained not only from losing the weight but also from wondering what to eat and constantly guessing. The muscle tone in my arms is incredible now and I love how the little muscle bumps on my arms stand out when I carry something. I have also found that my posture is so wonderful now and when sitting up straight, my stomach is so easy to hold in. Vacation was absolutely wonderful and I'm still on such a high. Family I saw on Thursday, all commented on how fit I looked. I just felt so good on vacation and really like the way I can carry myself now. I agree on the discussion the last couple of days and have posted before that I totally feel you have to make changes in your way of eating. I use the word diet alot and I don't mean dieting. I mean using the word in the true sense of diet-what we feed ourselves. Poor eating addresses several things: there are several foods that are just plain bad for you in large or consistent eatings. overeating or turning to food for comfort can also show a sign of other problems in your life. By finding proper foods to eat, you will find a good balance in your life and find that cravings for unhealthy foods will go away. Also as you start to get smaller and lose inches, you'll have that incentive to keep on track. I think we all have to sometime examine our own diets to see overall sucess in so many areas. This does not mean starving or depriving. It does mean making wise choices. I found for me that the food was a way of comfort for me and seemed like the only thing that could make me happy but of course, afterwards I felt miserable, bloated, had gas and gained weight. I looked and felt terrible on the outside and the inside. Now I've found that eating the right foods and drinking my juice makes me feel even better and I'm rewarding my body with live foods and vitamins and my body is paying me back by becoming firm, smaller and healthy. I haven't been sick the entire four months that I've done LL. Also, , congrads on your success. What a great year you are having...a diploma and a healthier body.
