Guest guest
Anyone know a good place to buy a " fitter " ? Can't find them on ebay and they're just too expensive to buy outright. I've been thinking of building one. (I built my own " total gym " - that thing that Chuck Norris and Kristy whatzername advertise on late night. It sells for $100 or so. I figure I built mine for $50 + labor. In retrospect, $100 is a pretty good deal - I guess I should've bought it.) If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's a picture of a fitter - they're great for all sorts of lower-leg rehab. And no, I have no idea where the name comes from. http://www.adlmedicalsupply.com/images/products/10712A.jpg For reasons I don't understand, a fitter retails for about $700. I figure I could build it for $30 without all the bells and whistles. Darn, I think I just talked myself into it. Don

Really. I'd sell it for $50. I don't suppose you're in northern California. I can't imagine boxing it up for mailing. >For reasons I don't understand, a fitter retails for about $700. Guest guest
I'm hooked on this thing. And despite Ann's encouragement, I've done nothing in the intervening year, so I finally plunked down the cash for one. After searching web sites and watching ebay for months, I finally went with onlinefit.com. They sell fitters for $419. Delivery is included and they're in Canada, so there's no tax for US customers. Roughly $130 less than if you buy it directly from fitter1.com. Don > >Anyone know a good place to buy a " fitter " ? Can't find them on ebay and > they're just too expensive to buy outright. Guest guest
Hey, cool! All the benefits of roller blading w/o the smashed cranium!! I like this. Wish it was about $200 cheaper. I just ordered the Tony Little Gazelle to try out for 60 days. Ann Re: anyone bought a fitter? Here's a link that illustrates the fitter. Guest guest
Consumer Reports reviewed exercise equipment a few months back. They gave the Tony Little a very negative review. I don't recall the specifics but given the low price, it should not be surprising that " you get what you pay for. " Glad to hear you are getting a money back guarantee! Guest guest
Do you think $434 is a low price? And you can try it for 60 days, plenty of time to decide whether it does what you need. They even refund the $14.95 you paid to try it out if you don't want it. True, you have to pay shipping back, but you could lose that amount of money just by going in the wrong restaurant.
