Guest guest
Dave: The only thing I'd add to Chuck's excellent Post is that you should probably get another opinion. A GP completely misdiagnosed me (he also said I had CP and I didn't) and they tend to be pretty ignorant when it comes to chronic joint pain. Try to find an Osteopath, Doctor of Physical Medicine/Rehab, or some other kind of " whole body " type of doctor. Stay away from Orthopedic Surgeons. There's alot of information on the 'Net about all this stuff. Plan to spend some time researching all the possibilities. And don't let them do anything like taping, bracing or orthotics until you confer with us. There is plenty that can be done to cure chronic knee pain. The key is figuring out exactly what the problem is, which is more difficult that you'd think.
