You are not alone at all! I am 26 and have had 12 knee surgeries (8 rt

and 4 lf) including bilateral tibial tubercle transfers. I was an active

gymnast training for the US National team for 11 years and have suffered from

knee

pain for 14 years. My right knee (1998) did great but my left knee has not

done as well. Getting the hardware removed will help immensely- it made my

knees hurt so bad and when I got it out, I felt a lot better. Please email me
