Guest guest
Yes, and it just occurred to me (for our younger members 20-somethings) there does seem to be research going on and positive things happening. So it may not be unreasonable to expect that within the decade technologies will exist to routinely repair hyaline cartilage and fix up our knees so you guys hopefully don't have to look forward to a lifetime of pain...!? In 20 years time 2001 will seem like the dark ages...?
Joe
Guest guest
That's what my doc said. I sure hope something comes along in the next few decades to help. It is hard to think that I may have cildren in the next 5-10 years and not be able to run and play with them without pain. My hope now is Synvisc, get my third set of shots (both knees) tomorrow. Guest guest
Yep, I really hope the synvisc works for you. But always keep a positive attitude if you can! Something WILL come up to help.... And in the meantime everyone on this board UNDERSTANDS what you're going through... Good luck!
Joe
