Guest guest Posted April 11, 2001 Report Share Posted April 11, 2001 Anybody have any Plica stories?<br><br>Most of my pain is next to the knee cap, towards the inside. I think I can feel a band of tissue at the base of the femur on the medial side. That seems to be where the pain is focused.<br><br>During exercise, if I start to feel pain, I can make it go away temporarily by massaging the area.<br><br>Does this sound like Plica Syndrome to anyone? <br><br>Anybody have this or know anyone who does?<br><br>Anyone know how to diagnose this?<br><br>My OS doesn't want to believe I could have anything other than CP and keeps talking me out of getting an MRI.<br><br>As far as I can tell the treatment for Plica Syndrome is the same as for CP and Patellar Tendonitis, but I'd love to know what I've got.<br><br>Thanks in advance,<br>Doug<br><br>P.S. - I posted something similar to this a while back regarding Patellar Tendonitis.<br><br>P.P.S. - Commentallezvous, that's awesome! I don't know if I really had the symptoms for this because there were so many things wrong with my knee that all the symptoms running together.
