Anybody have any Plica stories?

Most of my

pain is next to the knee cap, towards the inside. I

think I can feel a band of tissue at the base of the

femur on the medial side. That seems to be where the

pain is focused.

During exercise, if I start to

feel pain, I can make it go away temporarily by

massaging the area.

Does this sound like Plica

Syndrome to anyone?

Anybody have this or know

anyone who does?

Anyone know how to diagnose

this?

My OS doesn't want to believe I could have anything

other than CP and keeps talking me out of getting an

MRI.

As far as I can tell the treatment for Plica

Syndrome is the same as for CP and Patellar Tendonitis,

but I'd love to know what I've got.

Thanks in

advance,
Doug

P.S. - I posted something similar to this a while back

regarding Patellar Tendonitis.

P.P.S. -

exercises and stretches because you feel better. Keep us
