A 55-year-old active (but recently side-lined)

male, I am wondering if taking a baby aspirin daily the

last two years was the " straw that broke the camel's

back " for me. My tracking problem was diagnosed 25

years ago. Had to stop jogging 10 years ago, stopped

(moderate) cycling a year ago and now walking is

problemmatic. Official MRI Interpretation (just last

week):

" surface fissuring over the lateral patellar

facet...consistent with MR grade II chondromalacia "

My right

knee has always been annoying--limiting jogging,

etc.--but never seemed to change much year to year until

this past year. Transcript from Dr. Gabe Mirkin show

(next post: complete with references) has me wondering

if aspirin is friend or foe.

Well, I'm no doctor, but I'd say aspirin doesn't

really help too much with knee probs. If you are taking

it for heart probs or blodd pressure, then whatever.

But for CP, I suggest IB Profin. Works a lot better

and doesn't affect the body as much.

-
