Protein in Kefir?

Kefir has whatever level of protein is in the milk you make it from, as the

kefir critters neither reduce nor increase the protein in their growing medium.

Typical whole cow milk contains about 9g per 250ml (about 8 fluid oz), ~7g of

casein + ~2g of whey. Raw milk may vary slightly due to seasonal feed

differences, but it's all in the ball park.
