Guest guest
Thanks. Maybe they just need a while to bounce back. They were, however, sent fresh. If they don't grow, it's ok. The only thing then is I won't be able to experiment with different recipes. maria From: rantinchick@... They were bought dehydrated and maybe something happened when they were being dehydrated or maybe I did something to mess them up. They did however make good Water Kefir. I bought a second set, Live this time and they are doubling per batch. If you are already not using 1 tsp. Unsulphured Molasses and 1/8 tsp baking soda then add them in. Also put in a few pieces or crushed egg shells that have been boiled and see if that works. My first batch of the second grains bought didn't @ first grow that much but when they got over the shock of being in transport for over a week took off right away. Hope this helps.
