Guest guest
Hi Ady, I am assuming you are speaking about true milk kefir grains, right? Normal winter ratio is 1:7 (milk to grains). Normal summer ratio for me is 1:9 or 1:10. We are heading into warmer weather here so I would suggest you try using more milk AND less grains to try to find the ratio that will work best. At 1:9 ratio, take 1/4 cup drained MK grains and 2-1/4 cups of fresh milk. You will just have to keep adjusting the ratio until you find what works best for YOU, your grains and the weather conditions. <grins> Don't you just love diffinative maybe answers ??? lol Hope this helps, Rae in Idaho
