Guest guest
I am having trouble finding a non-metal mesh strainer. Any ideas? Deb in WI -------------------------------------------- I recommend the one from the dollar store. I found out that not all dollar stores have them. So I bought 50 from my dollar store and have them available. I had to order long bubble mailers for them. A five dollar bill buys you a set of four strainers with perfectly sized holes to strain either water of milk kefir grains. Marilyn
Guest guest
http://www.cheftools.com/prodinfo.asp?number=06-0181 & variation= This one looks good--note the smaller holes in the bottom. Asian specialty stores usually havea great variety of plastic/nylon tools--that's where I found mine 10 or so years ago--nylon holds up very well. I also stumbled upon a " salad spinner " If I can find mine, I will try it I'll let you know how that works out. ss From: Deb <debjacobs8@...> Subject: Finding a strainer Date: Friday, September 25, 2009, 3:34 PM I am having trouble finding a non-metal mesh strainer. Guest guest
I was able to find a bamboo strainer at store that supplies dried herbs, natural remedies, etc. They also sell them at Asian grocery stores in the tea section. > > I am having trouble finding a non-metal mesh strainer.
