dormant water kefir grains

Hi, I got my water kefir grains and I think the cold zapped them. I put them in

water with 1/3 cup of white sugar. Am I doing the correct things to bring them

back? They still have a nice white color but they don't appear to be growing.

Any advice? Thanks Mark
