Guest guest
, Here is a recipe for the dressing from my files. If you have the buttermilk powder in your grocery store, I would mix together the dry ingredients together with the buttermilk powder to recreate dry ranch dressing mix. Then, since I am not crazy about mayonnaise, I would mix the powder with one-half sour cream, and one-half thick kefir whenever I wanted to make the dressing, or add the mix to my mashed potatoes as per the recipe submitted. Ranch-Style Dressing 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream (or plain yogurt) 1/2 cup buttermilk 1/2 teaspoon dried chives 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/4 teaspoon onion powder 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper Whisk together all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving. If you use all low/no-fat mayo, yogurt or sour cream in this recipe, WW Points = 1 point per serving (2 tablespoons). Hope this helps!
