Guest guest
I originally titled this " Two questions " , but upon completing my post, I realized just how misleading that was! I've been at this kefir thing for about a month now and it's going great. My kefir is coming out very good, and my grains are growing. So, my questions: 1) I tried eating some of my grains for the first time (all those extras now). That did quite a number on my digestive system. Is that typical? How does the biotic content of the grains compare to the kefir? How much would you recommend eating at a time? 2) I'm traveling to Mexico for a week next month. I don't really see any feasible way (or even very much care to try) to make kefir while I'm there. Is there any more travel-friendly product of kefir grains that would help me get the probiotic benefits while I'm there? Does the cheese made from kefir have probiotics in it? I'm thinking I'll need all the protection I can get while in Mexico! Thanks for your help. Mark
