Guest guest
My son has acidosis and I did not realize that kefir is considered to be acidic (vs. alkaline). He was drinking 2 cups (16 oz) of raw goat's milk kefir each day (breakfast and dinner). He is 9 years old. My concern is if I cut back on the kefir he will lose some of the benefits of the natural probiotics and help to boost his immune system. Although with acidosis, I'm questioning how much good bacteria growth there is in his gut. I was thinking of diluting the kefir with raw goat's milk which may help his acidosis. Any suggestions/thoughts. Thanks, Martha
