Guest guest
Hi I started off with awesome kefir where the whole quart jar would be nice and creamy after 24 hours. Now after 24 hours the top half of the jar is thick and the grains are floating to the top but the bottom half is still just milk. My grains have grown some and I am using raw milk. I Can't seem to get the whole jar even with smooth and creamy kefir any more. The top half is always thick and the bottom half is just milk. Is this because I have way too many grains? Thanks Chris ----------------------------------- Mine is like that too. When I stir it up then it is real nice and goes through the strainer nicely too. Remember to always go by taste when determining if the kefir is done and you are giving the proper amount of milk. Thanks, Marilyn
