Guest guest Posted October 16, 2008 Report Share Posted October 16, 2008 Hi there, Well, I have been making water kefir with my few little grains for a couple of weeks now. I am starting to get more confidant and I'm LOVING the taste of my yummy kefir lemonades and kefir apple juice. BUT I'm worried about being sure that there are only good bacteria in there. (one of my main reasons for making it is to give my 1 year old probiotics) Is there a way to know? As of yesterday, we do think we smell a bit of a yeasty smell in the kefir.
