Guest guest Posted November 3, 2008 Report Share Posted November 3, 2008 My kefir grains, within the last week, when straining they are kind of sticking together and are resulting in a bit of " stringy " consistancy?? I don't know quite how to explain it... like when cheese strings from a pizza slice? Is this normal? The grains themselves have never looked better- They are big - the size of a small pea?? Any suggestions? Should I rinse them? If so, how do I do that? The kefir seems to be coming out just fine. I change over the milk every 12 -15 hours for milder kefir Thanks!
