I have some questions and am sure someone here has an answer. Where can I find recipes for kefir smoothies? Do I just make yogurt smoothies & replace yogurt with kefir? Is it safe to give my 7 month old baby a half cup of kefir for lunch instead of yogurt? My last batch of kefir had lots of curds and there was liquid separation (clear on top). Is this normal? What is the best way to strain my kefir? I know you're not supposed to squeeze them, but is it alright to tap the strainer to separate the grains from the curds? How long does kefir last in the fridge? How can I make my kefir thicker? Do I leave on counter an extra day before putting in fridge? Thanks in advance for all your help.
