Guest guest
Hi Sam, I'm Helen, 53, from Ohio... Sorry you are having such a hard time right now... You have come to a wonderful group of caring folks though... We have several on here that have some of the same things that you have also... I too have some of them... We're here for you... Vent away, that helps a lot when you are able to at least talk about what is going on and we are very good listeners... ((( Welcoming Hugs))) Helen I am a 58 yr old woman who just graduated with a social work degreelast June. I did not get a chance to start work as I became verydepressed due to no job (depressed labour market) and the death of mycousin by suicide. (His father had committed suicide when we werekids.) My sister and brother both suffer from depression. I have Metabolic Syndrome (diabetes type II for about ten years, highblood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity) and hypothroidism,Restless Leg Syndrome, Insomnia, and Depression. My diabetes, thyroidand high blood pressure are under good control. The restless legscombined with anxiety about my current finances and the depressionseem to be the source of the insomnia which I have had for about 3 mosnow. I take Oxazepam 30 mg every night for sleep and it still takes meabout 2-3 hours to fall asleep. I also take 2 tylenol at bed time forthe pain in my legs. My doctor is happy because the lab results lookgood but I can barely function every day. I feel that the medicalsystem operates by the numbers on a lab test and if it looks finethere, then you are fine. I switched from Prozac to Zoloft in the lastyear and think I want to go back. I just can't care enough to do whatI need to do to get better. Thanks for providing this place to vent. My question is it supposed to taste like yeasty yogurt? Also, when I drink it I can taste a little fizz...is that normal? Am I doing something wrong. Thanks for your help, Jennie from Utah
