I have a question; I am the only one in the house that will drink

Kefir. If I understand this right after the kefir is made I need to put

the grains in fresh milk. If I don't need that much kefir how can I

keep the grains healthy. I only use between 1 to 2 quarts of kefir a

week.

I try to brew exactly what my family consumes everyday. My family

likes the kefir best when I use a 1 TB of grains per one cup of milk.

I measure daily and remove the excess grains.

Good luck finding a method that works for you.
