Guest guest
When it is time to remove some grains from your culture jar, which ones do you keep and which do you eat? Do you keep the smaller young grains and eat (or give away) the larger ones? I have been keeping a mixture of large and small but I was just wondering what others do. Guest guest
Hi Wil, Big or small grains to me are all real and good kefir grains, lol. I am brewing 2 quart raw milk kefir daily, so I have very little time to notice the sizes, lol. I get 1 cup of extra grains every 3 days, my largest grain being approx 8in x 2in I think.
