I'm new here and very excited about making my own Kefir. I have only recently

heard of Kefir and have been reading quite a bit about it. I make my own

buttermilk, and don't know how I've missed Kefir. I've also tried making

mozzarela cheese - but the one gallon of milk turned into a golf-ball sized

thing that tasted like pencil eraser.
