Jackie,

It wasn't Lanie it was me, Ed. The heat didn't bother me when I was young and

svelte, but the more round I became the ickier it got. Dry heat is good. In any

event when the switch flicks in September/October the place is heaven on earth.

The Sailing sucks from Jan to Mar though. It's not a horrible place to live, I

just can't deal with that many people, I'm more of a country boy. I hope you're

happy there. In their later years my mom and dad moved to Lake Wales and really

enjoyed it. I always prefered living on the coast.

Jackie- Move to northeast Fl and you will have your seasons. That's the one

thing I love about being out of south Fl. We get winter up here. I'm from the

northeast originally and until my CMT was diagnosed I always had a rough time in

the winter due to the very cold temps and dampness. The heat is much easier for

my body to tolerate.

Yes, Laine I did get your email and I wrote you back individually. WE have ruled

out east coast because it seems to be pricier than west coast; my in laws and my

cousin lives on east coast and we looked there when the market was priced

higher, but due to differences in home owners insurance and taxes, we had to

lower our housing cost.

Maybe when the time comes and we actually move, we can try to meet up together

and with any of our other CMT friends. It would be nice to be able to meet from

time to time in person! you can email me directly at jeanet@...

Sounds like a plan to me.

Hi Jackie,

That would be great. I work at the Pasco County Health Dept from 7:30 to 4:30

with weekends off. So we will definitely get together. This is to0 cool,

Jackie.

Laine,

No. Funny you should ask because I lived in Fl for almost three years right

after my son was born but moved north because the humidity killed me. I am from

Buffalo, NY where I spent my first 31 years, then FL, now NC. I still miss home

though, (Buffalo). The weather is more mild in NC so that's where we're settled

now. My son also has cousins here his age; so, that's good. Anyway, it's

interesting that you ask.
