New to This Group - Would Kefir make one put on weight?

Hi ,

That would depend if you added kefir to your diet without cutting back on

something else. In other words, if you normally eat 2000 calories/day and

now you've decided to add a couple cups of kefir per day in addition to

everything else you eat, yes you might gain weight. Not gaining weight is

about portion control. Kefir has a low glycemic index if that is what you

are asking.
