Will adding honey to your finshed kefir beverage diminish the goodness/benefits of the beverage? If so, what would you recommend adding to sweeten the beverage as it is too tart for my litle ones and needs something to offset that tartness? I just would not add honey to the whole batch. Joanna>
Guest guest
To be honest I have not yet made it with coconut water but, I would guess it would be similar to making it with fruit juice. Like Marilyn said- hours not days to ferment. For 1 quart I would use about 3 tbs grains. > > I was wondering about when you make the water kefir with coconut water, how do you know it is done? It says in the paper that Marilyn sent with the grains that it's very quick, like within hours (rather than days). After making it with water for a couple weeks, I tried it with the coconut water and the taste is very mild and very different from the regular water kefir. I was also wondering how many of the grains should go with a quart of coconut water? > > Thanks! > > -- > >
