Guest guest
Hi , If I were you I'd get two jars going after you get a cup or two of water grains. One jar is for sugar water to keep them growing and the other jar for all the drinks you like, just in case they don't grow well. I am getting 100% growth in 48 hours. One cup becomes two cups in 48 hours. My recipe is: 1 cup water grains 1 quart RO water 1/3 cup organic cane juice crystals 1 tablespoon Rapadura 1/8 tsp coral calcium 18 tsp sodium bicarbonate Marilyn On Sun, Jan 11, 2009 at 2:51 PM, Estrello <majalove888@...>wrote: > All, > Thank you for all your comments. Guest guest
Marilyn, In your recipe (copied below) you say 18 tsp sodium bicarbonate. Do you mean 1/8 teaspoon? Thanks, Beth <<<I am getting 100% growth in 48 hours. One cup becomes two cups in 48 hours. Guest guest
I'm just wondering, would this work also with MILK Kefir grains? And my old grains I got from Marilyn a couple or more years ago, and are going strong still. Pat in CA --------------------------------- The idea with this recipe is to get water grains to grow. Milk kefir grains will not grow in a sugar water medium, only in milk. Marilyn
