Hi guys,

Ummmm. Is water kefir supposed to taste like wine or am I just having

too much fun? I have made some that came out sweet, but here lately,

it is very wine like (and enjoyable :)).

Oh yes. It is making alcohol now. That's because they are growing and could use a doubled recipe by now.MarilynOn 10/2/06, threejsmom31 <

I divided them into 2 jelly jars (smuckers large size) and they are

both making a similar ferment out of different juices. I finally let

them run 2 days... I was overfilling the jars at first but if i fill

3/4th, I can let it ferment without expansion trouble. Will it hurt

the grains to let them ferment like this or do I need to trim them

down and encourage a sweeter product? Thank you for all the help and

I hope you are well,

3jsmom31 :)

You can always tell if the water grains like the way you are treating them by their growth rate and size. I start to worry if they start getting too small.MarilynOn 10/2/06, threejsmom31 <threejsmom31@...> wrote:
