Jo, you'll get no simpathy from us Southern Belles on this issue

until Janurary or so when it's " cold " down here and you are in

several feet of snow. Until then, kindly stop showing off about your

weather....LOL! I cooked our entire dinner on the grill last night

(grilled filet mignon, eggplant, yellow squash and zuchinni) and I

was sweating so much that the smoke stuck to me. I was gray and ashy

when my husband came home. Had to rinse off in the pool several

times to get it off....yuck!

Oh Texas Mom, you're such a brat --and I don't mean a Wisconsin

sausage ;-)

The only ones who've been able to use our pool so far are the DUCKS,

much to the dissapointment of my three semi-aquatic daughters. It's

been raining so much here that we're up to our eyeballs in MUD and no

place to rinse it off!

I'm going to a convention in Dallas for a few days at the end of

August--I guess I'll have to bring an extra suitcase to fill with

some hot weather to take home with me!

You're coming to Dallas at the end of August....oh my goodness,

you're going to melt. It's in the 100's all through August. Usually

around 105 or so, but don't worry, it will cool off to a chilly 98

degrees at night. Keep me posted on your trip and I'll swing by your

hotel and we can get our picture taken together and post it on this

board. Our pool in August is so hot that you have to order blocks of

ice to cool it off. There is even a company in Plano, Texas near me

that sells air conditioners for swimming pools!

Yea! Sounds teriffic!!!! We'll have to have Texas Mom cook the steaks and
