Dear ,

I haven't been doing LL for very long but one good side effect was

that I could stop dieting: I think worrying about everything I ate

made me " hold on " to what ever I ate even more. Rashelle has said,

and I have read in other places when we diet our bodies go into

the " oh-oh, there must be famine in the Land and we should hold on to

those calories " mode so even on fewer calories you can gain. In doing

LL I have not lost any pounds yet...but my body is repairing a lot of

other things,(I have had a few recent health problems) I am eating

WELL, my skin is better and so forth. I am now noticing some inches

loss in the neck and face and I could button my suit coat this

morning when I went to church.

The beauty of LL is that I can do it in my car: I see patients in

their homes for about 45 minutes at a time and I try to do 5 on the

way to the next patient as well as a few before breakfast and in the

evening at the computer. I am NOT down on the floor much. LL is

gentle but strong: you are working the body from the INSIDE for one,

and the breathing pattern efficiently burns the fat and carries away

the waste products. Water, too is an important componant of LL

because it helps with eliminating the mobilized waste products.

GOODNESS!!! I am starting to sound like Rashelle!

I DO have more energy and stamina and for you with a new baby this

will help out a LOT. The other thing is you have US (I know, don't

cry...haha). We really help each other out with all kinds of health,

beauty, and family issues and I have had good support with my slow

beginnings.

The real point I was getting to is that LL does some dramatic things

without the hard stretches or " pounding " of most other programs and

if you're nursing you do not need that added stress both to the

nutritional content of your milk or to the tissues (yeeowch!)

Take it ONE BREATH at a time.

One silly thing I did one day was making candied violets for a

wedding cake for a friend I did one breath for each violet dipped in

the meringue then coated with sugar and laid out to dry...40 breaths,

40 candied violets... so you CAN combine the breath with other

activity.

I hope this helps you out and don't HESITATE to ask us for help.

That's why we are here...and occasionally for comic relief.

Gosh! This was pretty serious for ME! I gotta go take my temperature!

Love and paaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Dear ,

I'm not going to add much because Libby was just amazing saying all

is needed to be said!!! I totally agree with her, hte good thing of

LL is that you can do it wherever you want, anytime, anywhere, some

of us learnes how to do it silently so we can do it also in public

spaces!

As for dieting....don't! And remember to eat good fats, like olives,

olive oil, avocado, things like that to re-build the brain cells that

your daughter " stole " from yoU!!!!

As for support, you'll find tons and tons of support on this list!!!

so good luck and talk to you soon!

Thanks Cecilia and Libby,

I am so glad I found this group just surfing the web.

I will order my tape tomorrow. But it probably will take some time

because I am from Canada. For now I will try to do it the

way I understood reading the info on Rashelle's web site. By the way

I 've got a flu and feel terrible, can breathing help me to

get rid of this nasty virus sooner.

Thanks again,

Hi ,

I am so sorry you are not feeling well. Yes, the breathing should help. Sometimes it can feel hard to do it in the beginning if you are having trouble breathing in the first place, but if you force yourself through it, you will be amazed at how much better you feel.

It really doesn't take that long to Canada with Global Priority mail. Be sure you use one of the websites listed below so you get the sale price on the video and the fastest service.

Let me know if I can do anything to help you. Again, welcome to the group. You will be a great addition.

Take care,

Rashelle

Dear ,

Yes the breathing will help: take also extra water and vitamin C.

Most of all pace yourself and stay rested. The body can rid itself of

viruses more easily if you take extra special care of yourself!

Love, Healing and Paaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!...ps you will be surprised how

FAST the tapes get to you!

Don't beat yourself up now just because you are not the size you want

to be. My daughter will be four at the end of this month and it's

only been since about January that I feel like I have my life back

under control (gosh, I've probably made you feel worse saying

this..hope not). Point is, you've got a little one to take care of.

But try to squeeze 20 minutes of exercise in (maybe while the baby is

napping and then on your lunch break when back at work). You

mentioned that you can't diet since you are nursing. I agree but you

can eat healthy foods that will allow you to have more energy, good

nutrition for you and for the baby and will allow you lose weight

too. Don't feel you don't have any options because you are nursing.

Good luck.
