Guest guest
OK ya all, here's my dream. To have all my loved ones accept Christ as their Saviour. For my Susie and family to come back here to live!!!!!!!! For my Mom and Dad to move down here. To be a size 7 again. For my dirt road to be paved without a developer coming in here. OK guys, pray for my dream :-) Thank you! **********************************************With God, ALL things are possible.**********************************************
Guest guest
Darlene, this is a great idea. My goal is to work at home. We have several people in our office who work from home and all the office equipment is supplied by my agency. They are so stress free it is unreal, not to mention that they all get their laundry done before 10:00 each night like the commuters do. I have prayed for this for over 13 years (when it was first suggested to me) and the opportunity has yet to actually arise for me. That is my goal, so that I can be home, do laundry, cook a pot roast, and work all at the same time. I interested in hearing others' goals. Have a great day! Guest guest
I found this to be very interesting. I must say that other than the weight issue, my life is perfect. I would not change a thing. I have often said over the last few months that I wish I could just stop time for a while to savor this time when my children are all small and at home and they still think I am the greatest person in the world. But, after pondering this for a while I realized that I do have some other dreams and wishes that I have put on the back burner. This is my season for being a mommy , but someday when my children are all in school I plan to go back to school myself and study art. I am an aspiring portrait artist. That is my dream, my wish, and my goal. I am not in a big hurry since I love my life the way it is now. I am really glad you suggested this Darlene, it does not hurt to think about my dream even though I am not really in a position to do anything about it right now. Thank you, Gail VW Darlene Williford wrote: > I listened to Rashelle's Relationship tape from the VT over the > weekend, and I had an idea. Guest guest
Darlene, I am so glad you sent this. You did a great job of explaining it. The best way to do this is for everyone who wants to participate to submit their wish, goal or desire. Rather than anyone responding by mail, just either print it out, or just take a moment to focus your good thoughts for the sake of that person. It is very powerful and a wonderful way to come out of yourself to reach out to give something of yourself to others, which in turn makes you feel better about yourself. It is a great exercise. I have seen some amazing things come from this, so what better place to do this than here on our beloved Life Lift list. Keep those wishes coming, they are a dream ready to come true. Love, Rashelle Be sure to check out all of the great specials available on my web sites. Save $30 on the Large Body Wrap package. The sale has been extended until May 31stVisit us at http://www.lifelift.com or http://www.angelmagic.com. All other web sites belong to distributors, these are my personal web sites. From: Darlene Williford I listened to Rashelle's Relationship tape from the VT over the weekend, and I had an idea. One of the things she does with her groups in person is to have each person come up with their dream/goal/wish scenario, and then they take the time to share it individually with the group. Then they are quiet (I believe) and think about it, pray for it, meditate on it (send it positive energy, I believe). There's a lot of power in prayer, and I believe this is similar, if not the same. Each person feels special and it helps to verbalize/write down the scenario.I want to challenge us to come up with our dream, write it down, and for those who feel comfortable, share it with the group. We can read and/or print it and have it to pray over for that person. What do you think?Smiles,DarleneP.S. Rashelle, please correct me or give more information about this if we need it. Thanks! Guest guest
Darlene, This is an awesome idea! I will definitely be printing out everyone's wish/dream/goal and praying over them. My dream has two parts. First, I have a home-based business that has the potential to produce a significant residual income. I would like to grow this business to the extent that I can get out of debt and afford to pursue my BIG dream.... I am working on developing my own " theory " --some techniques and ideas to give parents some " tools " that can help them lessen the amount of tension, tantrums and confrontations they experience in raising babies and young children. It is a play/ritual based theory which I would like to call either P.A.T.T. (give yourself a " PATT " ) or P.A.R.E.N.T. PATT stands for " Play As Teaching Tool " and PARENT stands for " Play and Ritual Effectively Neutralize Tension " . Because these techniques can be developed from infancy, I dream of producing a video which could be given free of charge to new parents right as they leave the hospital. As long as I'm dreaming, I envision a celebrity spokesperson--someone who is very involved with children such as Rosie O'Donnell or Rob Reiner. When our oldest was born, my husband had had no prior experience with children. He has completely mastered these simple techniques (actually he's better than I am--I sometimes forget, grow impatient and resort to yelling, empty threats, etc., which DOES NOT WORK!!) Not only are children drawn to him almost magnetically, he can elicit cooperation from them as if by magic. I maintain that it's because children are built from day one to respond positively to being treated in a certain way, and that once we as adults are aware of it, we can develop the " tools " we need to meet everyone's needs--we can get that diaper changed, dress our child, buckle that carseat, go shopping, etc. and have fun with our child while doing it! Thanks for listening! Jo > I listened to Rashelle's Relationship tape from the VT over the > weekend, and I had an idea. Guest guest
I have a two part dream. I would like to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and measurements and my second is to have the house I've always dreamed of. I want a victorian style house with a big wrap around porch and at least an acre of ground, more if I can get it. This house is something I've dreamed of since I was a kid. I can picture it, I know how it would be decorated, I even know all the colors in the house. Maybe someday and hopefully before I'm old and gray. Thanks for letting me share.
