Guest guest
Hi karma, I'm really sad that yo have to leave this list. I understand your husband point of view, but I do believe that this is going to be only temporary. You are one of the people that i admire the most on this list, you have a lot of knowledge and a big heart to be willing to share it. I will miss you a lot, but I think that when you are all settled, I know it takes a lot of energy, maybe you'll be able to figura out something with your family. MAybe you could check the messages when they are all asleep, or you could settle one hour a day that would be just for you to check what the List is up to! You know, just sometime to read the messages and maybe to say " Hi, I'm well! " , and see what is going on with all of us. But, real family first, List family later, when everything else is settled down and everyone is happy, we understand... Just remember, I do believe in the " alone time " at least once a day, even if only for 1/2 hour, it's needed to be healthy, wether it's time on th elist or it's a walk on the mountains, or just relaxing n te back yard. I just want to say one more thing, LL and this list are very important to me. I was listening to one of the VT tapes and Rashelle was saying how she healed herself helping other healing, just by litening to them, or telling good stories, or just by being there if they needed anything, she is still doing it for us, but it's not only her, it's everyone of you. I feel the same way Rashelle feels, there is NOTHING that makes me happier than helping others with their problems, helping others healing, and this is what this list is about, being there for each other. Being there for people that we don't even know physically, but who cares when we know each other so deeply, when we know eachother's hearts, and fears, and happines, and wills, or when we know about our families and children or parents, about our friends or sibling, about our joys and our problems. And this love we have for each other, which is real, is going to real people, to fulfill their hearts and to help them go through life a little easier. Anyone who joins this list immediatly understand that there is something special about it. The beauty of this is that we " don't know " eachother physically, but when we meet someday, it will be like we have know each other forever, because we will already know the inside of each and everyone of us! It didn't matter if Rashelle didn't " know " Tami, she drove 3 hours to be with her, and it did't matter if we all " didn't know " her, we were all there with her, with all our soul! I talked enough now....sorry, I got carried away! Dear Karma, you will be missed a lot, but we'll wait for you to come back, and if for some reason you won't be able to do that, you will be with us anyways, in our hearts! But we still have a week to be with you so let's enjoy that!!! sincerely Cecilia :-)
Guest guest
Karma, you are really wonderful in the list, you helped me and many other people, that is way is so sad that you have to leave. I just wish I was there to give you a big hug and help you with all the things you have to deal with so you'd still have time to be on the list with us, it is just too sad to let you go! In my message I was just trying to express what I feel this list is about, and I do know that you love this list dearly and deeply, and it is really hard for you to make this decision. The good thing about friends and family is that it doesn't matter how long you are apart from each other, because when you " meet " again it will be like you never left! Please, let me know if there is anything I can do for you, you know, choose a house for you, buy all the furniture, do all the packing and unpacking, do your dishes and clean the house, take the kids to school, cook lunch ad dinner, scratch you back....things like that....I'll be happy to help you!!! LOL!!! No, seriously, like Darlene sayed, maybe we could take turns and keep you updated! Or print the messages out and send you regular mail....or contact your local newspaper and write articles there about us....LOL!! ANything to make you pah....happy!!!! HAve a refreshing breathing and pahhhhhing day! love Cecilia > Cicilia, > This has been one of the hardest things that I have ever had to do because I know that I am dealing with real people on these lists. I really wanted to make a safe place for people to be able to come and heal their inner child with other people who also needed to be needed. While in the classroom I found that the best way for children to learn was by empowering them to be the teacher. When they were in charge of teaching, they had to know what the heck they were talking about so they could teach it. I think that is what happens on these lists too. People are empowered to be able to help others, they are allowed to post things that are important to them and others reach out and help. I think that we have reached past all the religions and touched the true essence of the message. Care for each other as if they were part of you. I know that is what I do for everyone. I really do care for each person that I know about. I am glad that we have made the lists what they are and I hope they continue to be a save place for people to heal and empower them to feel good and positive about themselves. > > Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. > ~Karma > Re: Limited Time > > > Hi karma, > I'm really sad that yo have to leave this list. Guest guest
You are so sweet! I will let you know it there is anything that can be done. I sure do appreciate you trying to come up with something though. I totally understood your message and was simply agreeing with you. I could actually use a hug right now. I am having some trouble not feeling sorry for myself. How stupid is that! Pity parties serve no constructive good, yet, here I am struggling with this stupid "feel sorry for me" attitude that I simply despise. Well, I'm off to find a kid to hug and remind me that I have it good! It is amazing how hugging a kid will turn a frown upside down! ~Karma Re: Limited Time> > > Hi karma,> I'm really sad that yo have to leave this list. Guest guest
Dearest Karma, I sent you a message to your personal mail box, but I think I will feel better if I can share what I am feeling with everyone on the lists. My heart is breaking for you right now. I know that you are feeling hurt and I don't know what to do to help you feel better. I am certain that the outpouring of love is a double edged sword. It has to make you feel good to know how much we all love you, yet, it has to be painful to think that you cannot be with people who care so deeply for you. You have spread incredible light onto all of us who have come to know you. Regardless of how long you are away, your light will always leave bright beams to remind us that you have been here. I have been praying for a miracle with Tami and I saw it happen yesterday. I believe totally in miracles so now I am praying for one for you. You mean so much to all of us. Every time I think of all you give of yourself it warms my heart. You have an incredible gift to give the world and it makes me want to cry to think that your light will be kept from all those who need to feel your wonderful presence. I feel certain that all the prayers that will go up from all who love you on this list will make a difference somehow. I feel certain that if your husband has no idea what he is taking from you, or he would not ask you to give up what brings you so much happiness. I will pray that he will see the light, so that we don't have to be deprived of your presence. I will also pray that you find the place to move that is perfect for you and your family and that the move will go smoothly. Whatever it takes for you to be happy, that is what I will pray for. Limited Time Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know how much this list means to me. I look forward to logging on each day and finding out what is happening with everyone. I really feel like I know each of you who post. I look forward to "talking" with everyone about what is going on with them. I just wanted to share that with everyone. I am so glad to have "met" you. I am also so very sad to report that my time with the list is about to end. My husband has asked me to stop all my e-mail accounts so that I might focus more fully on the "real world". He is concerned that I focus too much of my attention on people that I don't even know. He has asked me to focus my attention more fully on raising the kids and helping our family to get things ready to re-locate. We are trying to find a better place to re-locate our family. We are not happy with the area we are in now. We are trying to re-locate to the Mountains. We really enjoy mountain living and are currently living in a very flat area. My husband has been feeling like I haven't been spending enough time with the kids and him. I of course respect his concern and will abide by it. I am writing this with tears streaming down my face because I am so sad to be leaving. I have been having this discussion with him for several weeks now and it has become apparent to me that this is something he is not willing to give in over. It is becoming more and more of a stressful topic of discussion. I have tried to tell him about the lists and how important I think that they are. I have tried to tell him how much help everyone is to each other. He just can't believe that people can care for someone that they have never met. I understand why he would think this, most people would. Our list is a very special place, it is not the normal list. I have no idea if I will be able to return or not in the future. I am hoping so, only time will tell. Please remember us in your prayers. I will think of everyone often. ~Karma
Guest guest
Karma, You've worked your tail end off for this list and you will be sorely missed. You've given us great inspiration and motivation when we've needed it the most, but most of all you've been a friend. I wish you well in the search for a new place and maybe when things settle down, you can rejoin us, even if it's only to pop in for a moment or two. I will pray that you find the happiness and contentment you are searching for. May God be with you in your new endeavors, and please come visit us when you can. I pray God will let things work out for you in His time. We really need you here, I know hearing that makes it harder to bear, forgive me that. I just wanted to send this off now because I know that some people read the digest and then others get behind in the reading. May 11th will be my last day to have e-mail correspondence. ~Karma Please use our list bookstore In Association with Amazon.com If you are looking for anything, please click on this link first! Guest guest
Thanks Wanda, I appreciate all the prayers on this subject. I will keep in contact if I can. At this point, it looks pretty doubtful though. ~Karma Karma, You've worked your tail end off for this list and you will be sorely missed. I need my fresh veggies! :-) ~Karma Hi Karma ><{{{{">You will be missed and I will think of you often. :' -( You have been so generous in the time you have spent to help those of us who need your knowledge and inspiration. You have enriched our lives and I think your life has been enriched by helping others. I am a firm believer in "you reap what you sow" so I have no doubt that you will get many rewards from your kindness to those of us on these lists. I also feel that you will be back to us in some capacity. I can visualize you sitting in a beautiful house on a mountain top with your family. Guest guest
Dear, dear Karma, I can't believe we are about to lose you! I just got online and was reading a bunch of responses and thought "what in the world???" So I quickly scrolled down to find YOUR post and read what has to be one of the most saddening posts I've had to read. You were one of the main reasons I even came to this list. I have admired and respected you since way back on the BF list. When my Susie told me you were here, I decided it would be a good list to check out. Although I understand your reasons for leaving and I know you are doing the right thing for your marriage, (we all need to respect our husbands wishes) I am going to miss you so very much. But you are right to respect your husbands feelings and for putting him and your family first. I will not forget you Karma and my prayer is for you and your family to find the perfect place (in the mountains, of-course!!!) for yourselves where you'll find joy and peace and love each and everyday. You'll not be forgotten Karma, by me or anyone else I would imagine! Please know that you have been one of the most helpful, sharing, caring, knowledgeable, sweet, loving, giving people to ever grace this list or any other one for that matter. I will truly miss you sis. It just won't be the same without you. There WILL be a void here. I wish you nothing but joy and happiness in ALL you do and may God see fit for you to return to us sometime in the future. I'd really like to send you my home address privately just so you could maybe drop me a line now and then to let me know how you are doing? Any way, I'm not going to say "goodbye". I'm going to say "later dear sister." Guest guest
Karma, I, too, send my support, prayers, and love to you right now. It feels really unfair that you even have to make this choice, but I don't think that there is anyone on the list who doesn't understand your decision. Your energy and enthusiasm have been contagious, and I know I wouldn't have been able to be so consistent in my workouts during the past couple of weeks without you AND the contest. I know you were very instrumental in creating the contest, and you are spending considerable time behind the scenes maintaining and manipulating the data. I, personally, can't thank you enough for doing that! I was really going to wait to share this next part, but it seems more appropriate now. You see, for the past two weeks I have been virtually stalled in losing inches (and weight). I know that I would have been very tempted to stop being consistent and letting things slide (like I did after the first three weeks of LL). However, all of a sudden yesterday I noticed that I'm losing inches again!! And today, I'm really feeling great. It seems as though I had hit a plateau that didn't want to let go of me. But, I didn't give in because of the contest, and it looks like it will finally pay off this week!! I'm really excited, and I feel that this breakthrough would not have been possible without you and this list. The power of love felt on this list seems to transcend all earthy beings, so I am sure that even though you won't be with us in the written word, that the love from the friends that you have made here will guide you through the period of time that you will be away. We will miss you, but I'm certain that you will be remembered and will return to us. We will take on the challenge to keep your name alive on the list!!! So I will predict the following: you will keep up your LL breathing after you leave us; the energy you expel with each breath will be sent to us; we will return it magnified; and when the time is right, your husband will see how our love for you can extend beyond the material things in life! Guest guest
Bonnie, I have always enjoyed corresponding with you on all the lists we have been on together over the years. I gave this announcement in advance to give me time to say goodbye to all the friends that I have made over the years. Some of you have been with me for over three years, you have been with me in my up times and down times. You have followed all my experiments in my quest for better and better health! I am so very glad to have met you and am so glad that you think of me as a friend. Thanks again, ~Karma Re: Limited Time Dear, dear Karma, I can't believe we are about to lose you! Guest guest
Geri, Geri, Geri!!! I can't be the inspirational one here! It is you who is the inspiration. I saw your pictures on the Oxycise site, WOW!!! what an inspiration you are. You also helped me in the Chi machine decision. I am so glad that you were able to compare the original one with the imitation. I haven't bought one yet, no room for one yet, but will and now I know which one to get thanks to you. Thank you for your saying that you thought I was an inspiration to you though, I do appreciate it. I want you to know that I also have always appreciated you too. ~Karma Re: Limited Time Karma,I can imagine how sad you are. Guest guest
Melodie, This is such an inspirational and wonderful message. It really shows the importance of support from others. One person can make such a huge difference in our lives. Karma certainly has made that difference to many of us. You are right in giving Karma credit for the contest. It was totally Karma and Tami that came up with the whole idea. The presented it to me and I thought it was wonderful, but had nothing to do with the creation of the idea. It really is incredible the way Karma has given so much of herself to us. We are all going to feel a real loss without her. I love the way you ended this message. It is really touching. I will put my focus on this coming to pass. Guest guest
Rashelle and Melodie, Thank you for this. As most of you know, I need a lot of variety in my workouts. When I saw that summer was fast approaching, I knew that I needed motivation to get me to where I wanted to be! Tami and I chatted back and forth about this and came up with the contest idea. Neither one of us suspected that it would be that last project we were going to do with the list! We are both glad that it has been such a success and helped to motivate others in getting ready for summer! I just love to share! That is what I love about the lists. It forces people to have good manners. A person can actually get their complete thought out without getting interrupted by someone who is only half listening to them anyway! On these groups you can read a message if it interests you or you can just delete it! I think it is wonderful to be able to share what is going on and then find out that someone else actually read it, listened to it, and cared enough to write a response! ~Karma Melodie, This is such an inspirational and wonderful message.
