Guest guest
Gail, It depends on if you want to be exact or not. The way that I told you to do it is the eyeball method. It will keep you in the Zone. If you want to be exact, then you can read the labels and do the math. I personally prefer the eyeball method. According to Dr. Sears, it works just as well as the exact numbers way. There are just some people who get into the numbers. I HATE math! So, I prefer the more creative way to do it. I eyeball my stuff. I also do have the ZoneManager program so that when I am doing a recipe, I can plug my recipe in and adjust them to be in the Zone. Again, I let the computer do my math. hehehe! ~KarmaWould you like to know how much Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat your body needs? Would you like to know your Body Fat %, or your lean body mass (how many pounds of fat your body has? http://loaves-n-fishes.com/zoneprofiles.html Hi Karma,So, it is more serving size than percentage of calories from eachcategory?Gail VW
Guest guest
Karma, Thanks for the info. I am not sure if I am ready for something like this yet. It still sounds way to diety. Even the thought of restricting any type of food makes me crave it like mad. I will see what I think after I have finished reading Breaking Out Of Food Jail. Guest guest
Gail, If it sounds to diety for you, then you definitely aren't ready for it. For me, it simplifies things so much. I know how to proportions things so that I am eating balanced. If it is limiting to you, then it isn't for you yet. I was not able to follow it either until I had followed the "Breaking out of food Jail" to get my cravings under control and be able to think about food in a rational way. ~KarmaWould you like to know how much Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat your body needs?
