Hi Michele,

I love the self tanners. I actually had one in my line, but decided to take it out, since they don't have a long shelf life. I have heard there are many good ones, so I will be interested to hear of any recommendations. The only thing about them is you have to stand for awhile to let them dry and your skin has a funny smell for one day. Other than that they are wonderful. Mine did not streak and looked perfectly natural. I am pretty sure I used it before taping the original video. It just leaves a golden glow on your skin. I like this subject. It will be fun to see what others have to say about this.

Love,

Rashelle

Self-tanner

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew of a good self-tanning product that does't make you look orange. I am fair-skinned and would just like to add a little color. I don't like laying in the sun since I usually just get burned and that is too harsh on my skin. Let me know if you have any ideas! Thanks, Michele

I'm with Melisa...I use the Clarins too. So do 2 of my friends. It doesn't

turn us orange, but we have found that if you try to apply too much at once,

it does break us out a little. We have found that if we apply it thinly, we

don't break out and if we want more color, apply it thinly again later in the

day, until we get the hue we want =o)

Hello!!!!

I use the Toma's brand(Perfect Tan) from Home Shopping /club.

It comes eith a plastic glove and it has a color guide so you know exactly where you want to put it. It comes out in a chocolate color that gives you aan immediate tan but not too dark. Then the tan comes through later on. It dries quickly and the initial color washes away and the tan is underneath. It is somewhat hard to explain but I hope you get the jest of it. I also saw it at a local beauty supply place called "Sally's".

There is something else but I did not try it yet. It is called TanTowel and it has taning product on a towelette and you just rub it on like with the towelette..

They also had this on Home Shopping too but I orginally bought it from my Hair Salon for $3.00 a towelette.

Hope that helps everyone out.

Does Clarins or Toma leave your skin with that funny skin smell like most self tanners do?

This is so strange -- I was watching late night TV last night and she was doing

an infomercial. It looks like a really good product and they also have a website

-- www.perfectan.com -- I'm glad to hear that its as good as it sounds.

Wanda,

I know what you mean about that smell..Estee Lauder was real yucky a few years ago. I don't know if they changed it or not.

I would say that the Toma has a slight smell but nothing like the others.

Hope that helps.
