Roving Inches

Hi Everyone,

I have been doing Lifelift for a little more than a month, and I'd like

to post my results. I originally decided to measure once a month but I

couldn't wait, so I measured after 2 weeks. I measured only waist and hips

and lost 1 inch from each. I was delighted with the results so I measured

other areas.

After 1 month, I have lost 1 inch from each arm and each thigh, but the

waist and hips are back to where I started. It was as if the inches moved

from one place to another. This was a little disheartening, but I thought it

might be due to water weight. I am now drinking 8 glasses a day thanks the

purchase of a mug with a lid. I realized that even though I like water, I did

not drink it at home, because my cat always went for it.

I refused to accept these results (for hips and waist) so I decided to

try on a jumper that was tight the last time I tried it on, and even though

my hips don't measure any smaller than when I started, the jumper is

noticeably looser...or should I say less snug. So now I am going to try the

jumper on as well as measuring every month.

I may have measured wrong, but I don't think so..I measured about 4

times. Perhaps that flabby spare tire is firming up before it starts

shrinking. :0) I imagined looking like one of those Thanksgiving

turkeys made with an apple for a body and toothpicks for legs. Hopefully,

next month will show a decrease in my spare tire.

Hi Marie,

I am so impressed with you. "You refused to accept these results". Now you are most certainly a woman on a mission and I have total faith that you will reach every goal you set with that attitude. Good for you!

I have always liked the idea of picking a piece of clothing to use as your measuring tool. It really can tell so much. If I ever finish the newsletter I am working on (I can't stop playing around and coming back to talk to all of you on the lists,) I have a section talking about the way we can add inches, especially in our mid section, that is not really fat. If you have swelling or bloating or an increase that comes on very fast, you can be pretty certain that you are dealing with this and then you can take a different route to eliminate it. Ok, I can hear you all now, Rashelle, send us the newsletter.

It is almost finished. I promise.

Take care,

Rashelle
