Cecilia- I'm so glad for you and your family. You are setting such positive thoughts for families. There are not many families on here dealing with this, mostly just individuals. You mentioned fat lotion before as well. What is that? So, you all showered in sulfur and went to the sauna. Was that all at the same place? I've read of someone on another site using permethrin on kids and the parents had to use ivermectin weekly for several months as well as showering in listerine and using msm lotion. I can't figure out how you did this all just showering once. Or was it over a period of several days? What about your hair? And how did you know if your little one was infested or not?

Hi!THanks for your e-mail, J david!

We brought nothing and first put some things in storage but decided to get rid of that also. We only kept papers that we need to have for tax questions and we keep them in bankvault. Will take them out as late as possible and not at home.

We succeeded in getting rid of the mites I think by the moving.

We moved in may and I haven´t had a bite since then. (hardly dare to say it)

But my smallest daughter developed eczema and my 8 year old staphylococcus as a left over from the mites. We might also have other coinfections (like lym eor bartonella/babesia) but that is nothing we are sure of.

I had mites on me but when we left home we went to my work and showered in sulfur and went to the sauna.

We also left the cars at the same time.

Some people here has succeeded without moving but for me and Doris it was essential.

I understand that you can feel depressed with the mites- they make you crazy!

good luck and take care!Cecilia

Hi Cecilia,I am new to this nightmare. I am planning on moving as an option and it sounds like you were 100% successful in getting rid of these bugs by moving?Did you throw everything out? Did you put some possessions in storage? If so, are you going to retrieve them? How long are you going to wait? Also, the scariest part of me moving is not losing my possessions, it is having these bugs stay with me on my body. I am having problems getting them off my body. Hi!

My little one was the one getting most bites, and we had a biopsy taken at a dermclinic that told us: most likely bites. That´s how I knes she was infested and my 8 year old also got bites (we all did, even if my husband only got a few.).

We used sulphur showers for a couple of months before moving also sulphur schampoo.

The sauan was thought to kill the mites on us as well, cause they die in over 70 degrees celsius.

We used fat lotions like Decubal after the sulphur showers (cause it dries out the skin)

Good luck!Cecilia

Thanks. I can't see any bites on anyone. My kids and myself had them in the beginning. I have the pin pricking and itching still and an occassional crawly. I read that sulfur 8 shampoo doesnt even have sulfur in it. I can't seem to find any shampoo. I've been lathering up the bar soap and putting it in my hair. It only has 3% sulfur in it though. I'll look into the fat lotion. Did you stop itching as soon as you moved or is this something that goes away over time?

Hi, Linds! The selsun schampoo was what I used.My itching became 90 % less when we moved, but I guess it´s been in your nervous system so long that it stays there as an afterreaction for a while. I don´t have it anymor (moved in May).KRCecilia From: Linds J <lj_mom11@...> "bird mites " <bird mites > Sent: Monday, December 5,
